Sneila

Sneila (Queer Noise, Experimental, Spacepunk) - Sneila is a sound-performance duo based between Zürich and Bern, consisting of Mario Scialdone and Eva Talesia Maspoli, with recurring collaborations by Unfassbare Materie. The project emerged from a shared exploration of sonic extremes and performative intensity. Sneila’s practice is rooted in the interplay of rhythmic noise, fragmented everyday sounds, and raw synthesizer tones. By combining structured chaos with improvisational openness, the duo crafts immersive soundscapes that oscillate between ritual and rupture. Their performances transform space into an unstable field where audience and environment are drawn into a collective, visceral experience. Beyond their focus on sound, Sneila’s work is informed by a sensibility for the surreal and the body. They channel the dissonant energies of the present into sonic and performative gestures that are both intimate and overwhelming. Their practice resists easy categorization, moving fluidly between experimental concert, installation, and performance art.
